Captain America and Iron Man Take Sides in New ‘Captain America: Civil War’ TV Spot

The stakes are raised and the tensions are high in the new TV spot for the highly anticipated “Captain America: Civil War.”

After the events of “The Avengers: Age of Ultron,” the pressure on the superheroes by the government has risen due to the constant collateral damage. Simply put, the Avengers have been doing whatever they want, ruining cities, etc. without being policed by anyone. And once the government wants to put in a system of accountability, which ultimately pits Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) against each other.

“Captain America: Civil War” opens May 6, 2016 and also stars Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Sebastian Stan, and Jeremy Renner. It’s directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo with a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
