Last week, there were rumors and speculation circulating that former “Harry Potter” actress Emma Watson would be starring as Anastasia Steele in “50 Shades of Grey”. Watson finally took to Twitter to respond that she is in no way affiliated with the raunchy book turned movie.”Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life,” Watson tweeted. “Good. Well that’s that sorted then. :)”

Rumors began circulating last week after the hacker group Anonymous hacked into the German studio Constantin Film and reportedly found a document attaching Watson to the film.

Emma Watson has appeared in “My Week With Marilyn” starring Michelle Williams, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” about a teen’s coming of age story, “The Bling Ring” about thieves targeting celebrity homes, and will appear in the upcoming films “This is the End” and “Noah”.

As of right now, no one has been cast in any role and there is no word yet on when the movie will go into production. The book by E.L. James started off as an erotic “Twilight” fan fiction based on characters from Stephanie Meyer’s books. Kelly Marcel will adapt the screenplay to be produced by Focus Features.
