If there was ever any doubt that John Wick 2 would somehow not be happening, then doubt no more. For those that enjoyed John Wick, you’ll be happy to know that Keanu Reeves will be back as the title character, but perhaps without his dog. The first film, which opened in August of last year received praise by moviegoers and was applauded for its action and trying to bring in a fun underworld, namely the intriguing Continental Hotel that Reeves visits in the film and houses a plethora of other assassins.

Directors David Leitch and Chad Stahelski will return to bring us some more action, although now that Reeves has lost his dog, it’ll be interesting to see where his motivation to kill will come from this time. But that’s a job for returning screenwriter Derek Kolstad.

There is no release date yet for the sequel, but keep a lookout for more information to come soon.
