The last time Scott Haze really bared all (and he literally bared all) was in James Franco’s “Child of God” a couple years ago. And while the movie wasn’t all that great, Haze put a lot into his performance, so it’s nice to see him land a role in the PTSD drama “Thank You for Your Service,” as reported exclusively by TheWrap.

Haze will star with Miles Teller (“The Spectacular Now,” “Divergent”) and Haley Bennett and Beulah Koale. Jason Hall, who wrote “American Sniper,” will be making his directorial debut as well as adapting the screenplay, which is based on the nonfiction book by David Finkel. The film follows a group of soldiers who have returned to the U.S. after serving in Iraq. After coming back, they struggle to get back into their civilian lives after their war experiences.

The movie is currently in pre-production and has no release date yet. Haze will be seen next in “Midnight Special” with Adam Driver and Kirsten Dunst.
