Not only is DC’s Awesome Con a gateway for fans to find and geek out with each other, but it’s also become a hub for intriguing talks, science now among them.
StarTalk Live!, the StarTalk Radio Show is the road version of the popular and award-winning podcast, usually hosted by either Bill Nye the Science Guy or Neil deGrasse Tyson. And now StarTalk Live! is coming to DC’s own Awesome Con in June!
Tickets have now gone on sale for the event, which will be taking placing on Sunday, June 5 at 12 PM. Scientist Bill Nye and comedian Eugene Mirman will be hosting this event, which is open to badge holders. Preferred seating and book signing are available for an additional fee.

DC’s Awesome Con will take place at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from June 3-5, 2016. Con guests include “Doctor Who’s” Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, and John Barrowman, director Kevin Smith, Karl Urban, Adam West, Morena Baccarin, Will Friedle, Summer Glau, and more!
