The most memorable person from Disney’s classic “101 Dalmatians” has always been and continues to be the dog-hating, fur coat-wearing villain Cruella De Vil. And now Emma Stone is in talks to don the famous spotted coat and bask in the cruelty of De Vil, according to TheWrap. Disney’s goal to turn every one of their animations into a live-action film continues, only this is one of those films that has actually had a live-action film before. Remember Glenn Close’s deliciously evil version of Cruella? Yeah, that’s hard to forget.

Granted, Stone is a fine actress and it’s not hard to imagine her in the role. The actress, who last year starred in “Aloha” and “Irrational Man,” two of the worst films of the year, will next be seen onscreen with Ryan Gosling in the musical “La La Land.”

Kelly Marcel (“Saving Mr. Banks,” “Fifty Shades of Grey”) is set to write the script and the film will be produced by Andrew Gunn. No director is attached to the film at this time.
