Divergent, based on the best-selling book by Veronica Roth, is set to hit theaters in a little more than a month. Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment are hoping it’ll garner the same success as The Hunger Games franchise. And although the books have a fan-base, it’s been proven in the past that this is not always means for success for a page-to-screen adaptation. Still, the trailer is exciting enough and it boasts a great cast, so I’m sure everyone has their fingers crossed.
As of late, there have been a lot of TV spots, trailers, and featurettes to hype fans of the series prior to its release. And now comes the final trailer for the film, which includes a lot of action-packed moments, more intensity, and a little more of the battle that Tris Prior, the lead character, faces in the film. It looks to be good enough given that the source material is the strongest of the book trilogy. The sequel, Insurgent, is already in pre-production and is set for a March 2015 release.
