Snowpiercer has been a long time in the making for director Joon-ho Bong. It’s Bong’s first English-speaking film and a couple of trailers have already been released for the film, including a new Japanese trailer. The movie is set to hit theaters in Japan on February 7, but it’s yet unknown when the U.S. and UK are going to be seeing what looks to be a fantastic science fiction thriller. The trailer is pretty intense and action-packed, giving us glimpses of new scenes that weren’t shown in previous trailers.

The film stars Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, Octavia Spencer, John Hurt, Ed Harris, and Alison Pill. The movie was first released in South Korea in August of 2013.

Plot: In a future where a failed global-warming experiment kills off most life on the planet, a class system evolves aboard the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe via a perpetual-motion engine.
