President Snow, played by Donald Sutherland, is really on a roll… and desperate, it seems. His first message to the citizens of Panem was about the people standing together and recognizing each district’s heroes, outside of Katniss Everdeen, played by Jennifer Lawrence.
Snow’s new broadcast message, one of unity, continues to be just as threatening as the first Panem address. Not only does this one still include the kidnapped Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson), but also making her first appearance since her kidnapping is Johanna (Jenna Malone), both looking stonily at the camera without a hint of emotion.
However, the broadcast is quickly hacked and cuts away to a well-known face, that of Beetee (Jeffrey Wright) to quell people’s fears and assure them that the Mockingjay still lives.
You can check out the hacked Capitol broadcast below. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (and isn’t that a mouthful?) opens nationwide November 21, 2014.
